With the financial aid of the world community, Ecuador's President Rafael Correa wants to leave 846 m barrels of oil underground and invest the proceeds he would have obtained for them in renewable energy projects. The Yasuni national park, one of the world's most biodiverse rainforests and home to indigenous tribes, is to be saved that way. The film allows politicians, oil lobbyists, environmentalists and native people to argue their ase. The impressive, partly distrubing pictures are rounded off with a musical journey through Ecuador.
