This self-reflexive parody of contemporary Filipino art films and the international film festival circuit follows a trio of young filmmakers during preproduction on the film they hope will get them to Cannes – a tearjerker set in the Payatas slums of Manila. Rivera's comedy tracks a day of pitch meetings, coffee shop powwows, and location scouting with an ironic, tongue-in-cheek (but never spiteful) tone.
